Day 1 ( Meals: -/-/D)
Arrival in Chiang Mai. Transfer to your accommodations and check in.
We will start of our week with a Traditional Lana "Khantoke" dinner with entertainment. Thai dancers dressed in local costumes will perform dances for your entertainment.
After the entertainment you can ask any questions you may have and you will all receive a map of the city.
An evening tour of the city by tuk tuk after dinner where you will see the man made moat surrounding the old city. The moat and fountains will be lit up in beautiful colors so you will be provided a good photo opportunity.

Day 2 ( Meals: B/L/D )
Tour to the one of the most revered temples in all of Thailand and the most visited tourist attraction in all of Chiang Mai - Wat Phrathat at Doi Suthep. Located on a hilltop on the outskirts of Chiang Mai and with a panoramic view of the whole city.
This is truly a once in a lifetime photo opportunity.
During the afternoon the tour will visit some Home Industries & also the BorSang village.
Before we go out to dinner we will drop into Central Mall in case you need some Thai baht, or snacks, or other items.
Dinner will be at the Kalare Night Bazaar where there are over a dozen food vendors with a variety of fresh foods to pick from. Entertainment may also be available during your dining.
After dinner shopping at the famous "Night Bazaar". Many shopping bargains and bargains is the correct word as the prices are not fixed and you can bargain yourself a better deal on thousands of quality products.
Anyone wanting something they will treasure for a lifetime can bring a photo and the skilled painters at the Night Bazaar will put it to canvas for you at an affordable price. It will be ready for you in 2 days and they will even package it for you for your trip home.
We will then let you decide if you want musical entertainment, or if you want to return to your accommodations. We will provide transportation to your hotel.

Day 3 ( Meals: B/L/D )
Visit The highest peak in Thailand approximately 8,500 feet above sea level and a 2 hr. drive south of Chiang Mai. During the drive enjoy the beautiful scenery. See the King and Queen Pagodas, and have lunch at the restaurant in National Park Headquarters. The tour will conclude with a visit to Mao & Karen villages and Wachiratharn waterfall.
Back in Chiang Mai at 5 p.m. and time to relax and freshen up before your Thai dinner at a popular local buffet. After dinner you will be entertained by a live musical group that will perform current hits.
After dinner you have your choice of returning back to your place of accommodations and taking in some free time or joining our nightlife tour of popular gogo bars , beer bars and pubs where you can meet foreigners who have moved here.

Day 4 ( Meals: B/L/- )
This is a full day tour and you will go to Chiang Rai. On route you will pass beautiful mountains and valleys, stopover at the Hot Springs, and then proceed to Chiang Saen, which was the old capital of the Lanna Kingdom.
The Golden Triangle is where three countries Thailand, Burma and Laos meet at the Maesai Border. This is the northern most town in Thailand. On the return trip to Chiang Mai you will visit the beautiful Temple Wat Rongkhun.
You will arrive back in Chiang Mai about 8 p.m. and you may have already had dinner, if not try a quick meal from a street vendor. Normally tasty and very affordable.

Day 5 ( Meals: B/L/- )
To-day we will visit three Buddhist temples within the old city in the morning. An All you can Eat luncheon buffet at a riverside restaurant will satisfy the pickiest gourmet. In the afternoon we have hired tuk tuk(s) just for you. If you want to go around town, to the mall, somewhere where we have been then this is your chance.
The evening is yours to do as you please.

Day 6 ( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast, and then your choice of a visit to Mae Tang to the elephant training camp where you will have an opportunity to ride an elephant across a river and up the mountain to a hilltribe village and later back down the mountain by way of oxcart.
We will ride down the Mae Tang river by bamboo raft and then enjoy a lunch. After lunch we will visit an Orchid Farm.
or you can take part in a Thai cooking class. Learn to cook some great Thai dishes and eat what you have cooked and receive a 70 page color cookbook for free. When you return home you can impress family and friends with you new culinary skills.
The last evening for the group and we will have a dinner buffet and take photos with our new friends and tour members.
After dinner we will go to one of the most popular night spots in town where a musical group will perform.

Breakfast, check-out and transfer to airport/train station. For those individuals departing in the evening we will leave it up to them where they want to go and what they want to do.

Day 1- Day 8 - Chiang Mai Trip Overview:
This one week tour to Chiang Mai covers the most desired tourist attractions. The tour includes temples, moat, and tour within the city and well as visit to Hot Springs, Doi Suthep, Doi Inthanon Int'l Park, Golden Triangle, and a choice of either a day tour to Mae Tang for elephant show and ride, oxcart ride, bamboo rafting or a day at a Thai cooking school.
The tour price includes 7 nights accommodations, 7 American breakfasts, 5 lunches, 4 dinners, transfers, entrance fees, one complimentary 2 hr. Thai massage per person, and a driver/escort during 4 evenings to enable you to see and do more so need to pay for transportation or to rent a car.
